sweet home, chicago (part deux)

after everything, chicago feels like a second home, with beloved friends, familiar places, and good greek food. having arrived a little early (like by more than six hours), we went over to greektown. after lovely food at the place we swore we'd go next time, artopolis (http://artopolischicago.com/), we went across the street to the national hellenic museum. from the roof of which one can view all of greektown, chicago.

and across the street is a modern archeological site.

in which was a sign, that read "Welcome Runners From Greece"... don't know from when.

we also discovered a lovely cupcake place ("Flirty Cupcakes").

(and were a little silly from the sugar.)

then we were welcomed by our wonderful friends.

tomorrow is judgement day. let me not think on that until tomorrow.
