bucolic toronto...

today we went into toronto with the idea of seeing the riverdale farm and then walking the bike tail along the river north to the ontario science centre... but life is what happens when you are making other plans.

and all kinds of good stuff. then we started up the bike path.



so many tasty/helpful plants on the way!!



finally we come across one place where we see "civilization"... a few kilometers later, we discover the way out is blocked. the bridge we need was removed in the last week or so, and... everyone was hungry, tired, frustrated, and then we find out the science centre was about to close.

so food it was! we found ourselves near greektown. :)








and meet lovely people at a (really, truly) fair trade shop.



then... we discover that R lost her camera, and all her cool pictures with it, back in the woods. tears and sadness, but they are dried up now, and she is watching a little clone wars (first time).

we will see what tomorrow will bring...
